The
streetlights glowing off the winter branches of trees along Hoyne Ave.
in North Wicker Park, Chicago, Ill. The photo was taken in October of 1981 with a Ricoh
Singlex TLS 35 mm SLR equipped with a 55 mm f/1.7 Prinz Auto Rexatar lens
on Kodak Tri-X Pan film. For the first print, the negative was enlarged optically with a
Prinz 35 enlarger and a 50 mm f/3.5 Vivitar-LU lens on New Oriental Seagull
Double Weight Fiber Base silver gelatin photo
paper. Processing was done using Kodak chemistry.
All aspects of this print were handled in an authentic, pre-digital manner. Archival processing will ensure the maximum life span for this print.
