A
blue and white Delft vase in a shop window on Duke of Gloucester Street at
Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. More properly, this is an apothecary
(pharmacy) jar meant to contain Mallow, an herbal remedy.
This photo was taken in October of 1982 with a Ricoh
Singlex TLS 35 mm SLR equipped with a 55 mm f/1.7 Prinz Auto Rexatar lens
on Kodak Kodacolor II 100 film. The negative was enlarged optically with a
Beseler 23CIIXL enlarger and a 50 mm f/2.8 Rodenstock Rodagon lens on
Kodak Panalure Single Weight Fiber Base silver gelatin photo
paper. Processing was done using Kodak chemistry.
