Archway Remnant

29F20 scanAn archway remnant in a ruined Romanesque church at Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Glendalough is an early medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin. The monastery was destroyed in 1398 by the English. This photo was taken in August of 1983 with a Ricoh Singlex TLS 35 mm SLR equipped with a 55 mm f/1.7 Prinz Auto Rexatar lens on Kodak Kodacolor VR100 film. The negative was enlarged optically with a Beseler 23CIIXL enlarger and a 50 mm f/2.8 Rodenstock Rodagon lens on Kodak Panalure Single Weight Fiber Base silver gelatin photo paper. Processing was done using Kodak chemistry.
