Another modern machine shop operates in a building quite old;
The long line of windows brings in the light - modern AC in summer blows cold.
A
mid-1800s industrial building on Commerce Street in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Now occupied by the Lake Country Corp, a modern machine shop, this
building almost looks like a 19th century barracks. These old buildings
hide modern industry and jobs, showing how these rural towns are not at
all just depressed farm areas.
The photo was taken in September of 2016 with Pentax 67 medium format SLR equipped with a 45 mm f/4 SMC Pentax 67 lens
on Ilford HP4+ film. The negative was enlarged optically with a
Beseler 23CIIXL enlarger and a 100 mm f/5.6 Schneider Componon-S lens on Ilford
Multigrade FB Classic Double Weight Fiber Base silver gelatin photo
