The Ledges, actually Ledge County Park, are a series of heavily broken and fissured limestone cliffs in Dodge County, Wisconsin. These cliffs are part of the Niagara Escarpment; a series of cliffs running from eastern Wisconsin, through Upper Michigan, Canada, and down to Niagara Falls and northwest New York state. The park has trails that wind in and through the often extremely fractured stone formations, and offers numerous opportunities for visual delight. The over 400 million years of weathering can be seen in every stone face encountered.
