On the water, such wonder in splashes of light;
Rippled and foaming, fast flowing and bright –
Sometimes still, sometimes wild, smooth as satin it shines
Shrouded in memories mild, or daydreams of mine -
Watching reflections of sights we have seen
Water splashing and flowing like snatches of dreams.

This fabric of motion beneath waves, smooth or like lace,
Is replenished by waterfalls, wind, rain, and His Grace.
The breath of the Almighty upon water, land, stone -
Showing mysteries of paradise and signs yet unknown.
